Richard Colon

Our father Richard Colón left this world on December 16th 2023 at the age of 65 years old. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. We would love you to come and honor his life at New Comer Cremations & Funeral, 2636 Ridgeway ave, on January 12th 2024, 4-7pm.

Richard fought his battle against many illnesses for these past years. Despite spending much of that time in and out of the hospital this year, he never lost the ability to comfort his family with all of his heart. Throughout his entire battle, he still managed to showcase enormous amounts of love with his adult children, made an effort to be present through his pain with his grandchildren, and was always trying to stay positive through a difficult year. He loved watching Hallmark Movies, fixing cars, taking care of his pet fishes, watching Star Trek, going fishing, working on computers, and watching the Buffalo Bills. He still managed to commit to these things that brought him joy while he was battling for his health. He was very private with many things, he never wanted to be a burden to anyone. One thing for sure is that the love he had for all of the people in his life never stayed private. And his memory and impact will live on through his 5 children and 14 grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
