Greece: January 18, 2008, at age 84. Predeceased by sister, Nancy Baker and brother, Carl Robert Petersen. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Frances F.; children, Susan (Scott) Atkinson, David Petersen, Nancy (Thomas) Ott, Jenny Lorenz; grandchildren, Sherie, Rick, Michael, Andrew, Tom C., Tom O., Kate, Emily, Taylor, David, Rebecca, Annalise; great-grandson, Aiden; brother, Theodore Petersen; many nieces, nephews and good friends. He was a WWII Army veteran after 4 years of service, and a member of the Brockport Yacht Club.
There will be no prior calling. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 PM Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Braddock Bay Lodge and Pavilion, 199 E. Manitou Rd., Hilton, NY 14468. Contributions may be made to the Cardiology Department 5400 Unit, Rochester General Hospital, 1425 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621.
