North Chili: Sunday, Jan uary 27, 2008 at age 70. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Margaret (Capuano); children, Michael Durfee, Timothy (Erlene) Durfee, Richard Durfee and Lynette Durfee; grandchildren, Shaun (Ruth), Kelley, Erin, Katrina, Richard, Timothy, Alex, Kyle, Evan, Austin, and Gabrielle Durfee; great-grandchildren, Devon, Blake and Keenan; brother William (Nina) Durfee of CA; brothers-in-law, Frank, Albert and Edward Capuano; sister-in-law, Betty Capuano; loving grandpuppy Mickey; several nieces, nephews and special friends. Richard was a member of the American Legion Harvey C. Noone.
No prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Richard's life at his Memorial Mass Wednesday, January 30th at 10:30 AM at St. Christopher Church, 3350 Union St., North Chili. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 4053 Maple Rd., Suite 110, Amherst, NY 14226 in Richard's memory.
