Richard J. Fischpera

GREECE - Passed away after a brief battle with cancer on September 5th 2019 at age 66. Predeceased by his father, Helmut; brother, John E. Fischpera. Survived by his wife of 14 years, Sarah Jo; mother, Lore Fischpera; children, Richard Fischpera, Kristen (Andrew) Bub; Jason (Marisa), Anthony, Michael, Joseph (Brittni) Monachino; grandchildren, Hannah & Olivia Bub, Harmony, Alexus, Nicholas, John, Jason, Anthony, Joey & Vinny Monachino; brother, Wolfgang Gengenbach; sister, Inge Schwarz; many other family and friends.

Rick is a retired member of the U.S. Postal Service. In his spare time, he was an active (now retired) member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 4-5 out of Braddock Bay, Rochester Schwaben Verein, a member of the Rochester Model Railroad Club, and a member of the New York Museum of Transportation in Rush. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending all their events as well as time with his wife Sarah. He was a friend, father, and Opa to all.

Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, September 10th from 4-8 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where his Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 11th followed by interment at Falls Cemetery.
