Richard Gretzinger

Richard Gretzinger passed peacefully on December 8, 2022, at age 90.
Survived by Jenette Gretzinger, wife of 62 years, brothers James and Tom, children Stephen, Robert (Cathy), Karen Fenton (Jim), Bill (Tina), and Chris, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Richard worked for Eastman Kodak for many years after graduating from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. He was very active in his community: chairman and founder of the Greece Summer Festival for 10 years, past president of Northwest AARP Chapter, and instructor of Defensive Driving Course. Enjoyed outdoor activities and working outside.
In lieu of flowers, consider donations to Natural Heritage Trust, 625 Broadway Ave., Albany, NY 12207.
A funeral service will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 1:30pm. Calling hours will be held from 2:30pm-5:30pm.
