Survived by his Sons; Bryan (Heather) Hefner, Joey ( Amanda Bergeron) Hefner, Daughter; Christina (Jose) Hefner-Rivas.
Grandchildren; Brianna, Hunter, Jovani, Antonio, Parker, Giana. Children's Mother; Celia Hefner-Kowalski.
Rich was a proud veteran of The US Navy, he loved fishing, outdoors, WWE wrestling. He was a die hard Buffalo Sabres hockey fan, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Rich had a heart of gold and was a giving person with others in mind before himself. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2018 from 3-6pm at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (corner of Long Pond Rd.)
Funeral Services will follow visitation in the chapel of the funeral home at 6pm. Deacon Larry Feasel officiating. Interment will be private.
Friends wishing may make contributions in lieu of flowers to The Veterans Outreach Center, 447 South Ave, Rochester, NY 14620 or to The American Cancer Society, 1120 S Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620 in memory of Rich.
