Rochester:
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 14th, 2020 at the age of 77.
Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Eva Hussar; sister, Sharon Hussar; son-in-law, Lakomah Tisdale.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Theresa Hussar, Children, Tammy (Conrad) Everly, Tuyet ( Arthur) Pavone, Christine (Mark Arnold) Smith, Richard Hussar, Mary Tisdale and Joe (Na'Lisa) Hussar; grandchildren, Raymond, Michael, Andrew, Taryn, Amanda, Trevor, Sam, Amani, Anthony, Jennifer, Nate, Nas, Jessica, Yusiah, Ryan, Olivia, Brayden and Leah; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Barry (Pat) and Bruce (Maryann) Hussar along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank Lifetime Care Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care.
Richard served in the U.S. Navy Seabees where he received his Purple Heart in combat in the Vietnam war. He retired from the U. S. Post office after 41 years. He was a devoted Roman Catholic and an avid reader.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday July 21st 2020 from 5PM - 7PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday July 22nd at 10AM at Holy Name of Mary, 580 Winton Rd Rochester, NY 14610.
Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Holy Name of Mary Church and or DAV New York 15, 919 Westfall Rd Suite 300 Rochester, NY 14618.
