Richard J. Iles

Richard Joseph Iles passed away on November 7th 2022. He was born on September 28, 1964 at Rochester General Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Louisa Iles and his brother David Iles; sister-in-law, Nancy Fortunato.

Rich is survived by his loving wife Kathryn Iles and their son, Jacob Stewart, as well as his sister, Beth (Michael) Maira; brother, Christopher Iles; Sisters' in law Karen (Luke) Iles-Loveys, Suzanne (Mark) Ciluffo, Linda Ryan, Eileen Cooper and Brother-in-Law, Tony Fortunato. He was a beloved Uncle "Fun-cle Rich" to many nieces and nephews, along with great-nieces and great-nephews who loved him dearly.

Rich graduated from Gates-Chili high school and was a retiree of the Rochester City School District after 32 years. He loved to hunt and fish with several close friends and family. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers & Philadelphia Flyers fan.

Family will receive friends 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Sunday November 20, 2022 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where his Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00 pm.
