Unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at age 51. He was predeceased by his mother, Eileen. Survived by his soul-mate, Carol Jones; father, James (Shirley); children, Josh, Jennifer Hope, Richard Paufler, Leslie (Frank) DelCastillo and Cynthia (Edward) Cronk; 6 grandchildren; sisters, Marion, Barbara (Frank) Cutler and Robin (Dan) Richardson; along with several nieces and nephews. Richard was a United States Air Force Veteran. Serving during the Vietnam War.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 31, from 12 to 2 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where Services will immediately follow at 2 P.M. Interment in Riverside Cemetery will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Lung Assoc.
