Predeceased by loving wife Beverly (Mallette) in 2021, parents Richard & Sylvia and brother Mark Shaw.
Survived by sons Christopher (Kyle Jenkins) of Penfield and Timothy (Kimberly) of Penn Yan, daughter in-law Michelle Shaw of Greece. Grandchildren Kane (Kaitlyn), Austin, Brendyn, Johnathan and Gianna Shaw, Nicholas Capone. Great grandchildren Ava & Brooks Shaw.
Sister Sylvia, brother Dan (Debbie) Shaw. Sisters in-law Patty (Tom) Reish, Barb Mallette (Doug Lloyd) and Chris (Bob) Hewitt. Also many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Rick was a retiree of CooperVision who loved spending time with his family, and a classic car enthusiast who loved old Chevys.
Friends may call from 4-7pm at the New Comer Funeral Home 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Greece, on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 4pm-7pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Boniface Church, 330 Gregory St, Rochester, on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 10am. Burial will be held on October 1, 2022 12pm at Grove Place Cemetery, 2775 Chili Ave, Rochester, NY 14624 followed by a Celebration of Life at the Oatka Hose Club, 11 North Ave. Leroy, New York 14482.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St Jude's Childrens Hospital or The Wounded Warrior Project.
