Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 4, 2024 at the age of 90.
Predeceased by her husband, Paul R. Stack; parents, Arthur and Lois Buckley; siblings, John (Aldean), Mary Louise (Ray) Martin, Richard (Diane) and Jeanne (Bruce) Greener.
She is survived by her children, Linda F. (Steven) Reibsome-Dodge, John H. (Tina) Folwell, Margaret Folwell; Paul's children, Cynthia Harmon, Suzanne Stack and Paul, Jr. (Joan) Stack; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank the staff at Episcopal Church Home for their compassionate care.
Rita graduated from Nazareth Academy in 1952, the University of Rochester in 1956 and later graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 1980 with a Masters in Library Science. Rita's professional career was at the Eastman Kodak Co. in the Research Libraries and retired in 1990 after 17 years of service.
Rita lived a full and active life. She enjoyed staying physically fit, going to movies, reading, gardening, antiquing, decorating, and traveling. Rita and Paul loved experiencing other countries and cultures and they spent a lot of time in New Orleans and New Bern, NC.
Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Rita's Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 17th at 10AM at Episcopal Church Home, 505 Mt. Hope Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rita's memory to Rochester Animal Services or Rochester Public Library.
