Rita Rifenburgh 104, born April 29th, 1917, passed away February 15th, 2022.
Rita was predeceased by her mother Agnes Worman, father Lewis Worman, husband Harry C. Rifenburgh, infant son Ronald H. Rifenburgh and several aunts, uncles and relatives.
She is survived by her son Bruce A. Rifenburgh, Rochester, NY. Rita lived her entire life in Cheviot (Germantown) NY. Rita was active in the American Legion Ladies Auxillary, Jennings-Willets Post # 346, a charter member since 1946. Rita was the head teller at State Bank of Albany (Bank of America) retiring in 1979. Rita loved to paint.
She especially liked to make hand made greeting cards for friends and relatives birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Rita loved the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains, which her home overlooked. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and shaping her many bushes. She will be remembered for her love of nature including all the many birds and trees that surrounded her home and especially her feeding of all the hummingbirds.

Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
In her honor, any memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary, Jennings-Willets Post # 346, 10 Ostoyich Rd, Germantown, NY 12526.
