Greece: Passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at age 81. He was predeceased by his infant daughter, Karen Jean. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Arline (Tom) Burke and Keri (Todd) Samolis; grandchildren, Lyndsay (James) Fitzmaurice, Justin (Tiffany) Burke and Liana Samolis; great-granddaughter, Olivia Fitzmaurice and brother, William (Helen) Festing Jr; sister-in-law, Arline Baker; and brother-in-law, Donald (Joan) Wichman.
Bob was a retiree of Rochester Products and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was also a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 3277 in Carlsbad, NM., and a member of the Rochester Products Rose Society.
A special Thank You to all the staff at Lipson Cancer Center.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 18th from 1-4 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 20th at 10:30 A.M. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Lipson Cancer Center, 1299 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621.
