Big Bob- known by many was a wonderful husband, father, grand-father and great-grandfather. He was one of a kind. "A gentle giant'.
We were so blessed to have him for 84 years.
He grew up in rural Kendall working the family farm. Later taking his knowledge to working at Gonsenhauser farms in Brighton where he raised his family.
After 24 years of working the land he was looking for a new challenge - the Town of Gates was just the ticket. He worked 15 plus years as their Master Mechanic where he later retired in March 2001.
Once retired he realized how much he missed working the soil. So, he became an avid gardener. Many families, friends and neighbors enjoyed his bounty. While toiling in the dirt his loving four legged friends would help with the "digging and replanting" of his veggies.
So now his beloved four legged friends Bandit and Daisy Mae will be gardening with him in heaven while on earth his four legged friends Anna Bell and Simon will be watching over mama, knowing that mama will always love daddy to the moon and back.
