Tuesday, August 1, 2006, at age 93. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Louise; son, Bob(Rosalie); daughter, Kathleen Herrmann(Miles); grandchildren, Jennifer(Martin)Verbakel and Joseph W. Herrmann; great-grandchildren, Michael, Elena and Zachary; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Patricia and Richard Menga. Robert was a US Army Combat Veteran, serving during WWII and will always be remembered as a loving and devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather.
There will be no prior calling hours. Memorial Service will be celebrated on Friday at 10AM in New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Inurnment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A Memorial Mass in St. James Church will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
