Robert "Bob" Brown

Passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 72. 

Predeceased by his parents, Walter & Jennie Brown; daughter, Laura Brown; nephew, Ricky Brown.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Susan Brown; children, Robert (Pam) Brown, Charles (Annette) Brown, Weston (Amanda Wing) Brown & Jonathan (Courtney) Brown; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, William (Kathy) Brown & Barbara (Tom Dunn) Parker; many nieces & nephews.

Bob graduated from Greece Arcadia High School in 1970. He entered the Army Reserves in November 1972 and was honorably discharged in 1978. He was employed by Eastman Kodak, Greece Central School District, and Hope Church.

Before retiring from Hope Church, Bob demonstrated a strong passion and dedication for his work as a custodian for the church and pre-school. Bob’s love toward all the children and staff earned him the nickname “Mr. Bob.”

Bob had an amazing love for his wife, family, and those around him. He was always greeting everyone with a warm and loving embrace and gentle smile. He was so very proud of all his sons and grandchildren’s accomplishments whether it be work ethics, sports, or education.

Bob treasured watching his sons play football and coaching their youth teams. He took personal joy in being a devoted NY Giants and McQuaid Knights football fan. He also kept with him a desire for setting up a N-gage train village.

Family will receive friends Monday March 3, 2025 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Military Honors will be rendered at 12:00 pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. 

A memorial service will be held at Hope Church, 1301 Vintage Lane, Rochester NY 14626 on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 4:00 pm.
