Robert's passions were: God, his beloved wife, Connie, his family, his 1300+ books, and the NY Yankees.
He left a beautiful legacy with 5 children, 20 grandkids, 17 great grandkids and one on the way.
He was always up for his favorite game of Mexican dominoes (with his own rules), Nertz, or Gin Rummy with family and friends. He was the master of telling corny jokes, playing his jaw harp, and yelling at the NY Yankees.
He had the mind of an accountant, the heart of an artist and the soul of a shepherd.
We will miss him dearly, but find comfort in knowing that he is reunited with his daughter, grandson, brother and parents and in the arms of Jesus.
Family will receive friends 10:00 am - 11:00 am Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where his Funeral Service will follow 11:00 am. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.
