Passed away April 5, 2007 at age 82. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Merline S. Bueg (Swan); children, Alan (Judy), Norman, Janice Bueg (Edward Brozyna); grandchildren, Aaron, Ashlee, Johnathan, and Jennifer Bueg; brother, Donald J. Bueg.
Bob was a veteran of WWII serving in Africa, China, Burma and India Theaters. He was also a member of the American Legion and Post Commander of Burton Miller Post #238 and Chili Post #1830. He was a 60 year member of ERAC Lodge #163, Lalla Roohk Grotto, 30 year member of the Damascus Shrine and spent 60 years with the Rochester Consistory.
Bob was a trombone player for the Webster Firemen's Band for 55 years, Pittsford Firemen's Band, Shrine Band, Grotto Band, Webster Village Band and the Group for Circus Saints and Sinners. He worked for General Railway Signal for 41 years, retiring in 1987.
Family and friends may call from 4-8 PM Friday at New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Service with military honors will be held 10 AM Saturday at All Seasons Chapel, White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shrine Crippled Children's Hospital, 979 Bay Rd., Webster, NY 14580.
