Rochester: Born April 29, 1919 passed peacefully on November 8, 2009 at age 90. Robert was a WWII Veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. Loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survived by his wife, Mary (Philipps) Barnard; daughter, Kathleen (David) Binn; sons, Daniel (Mary) and Thomas (Audrey) Barnard; grandchildren, Michael (Nancy), Matthew, Amy Binn, Thomas (Rhonda), Eric, Jonathan (Laura), Daniel (Melissa), Laura Barnard and Timothy (Erica) Russell; brothers-in-law, Paul (Eleanor) and Fr. John Philipps; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, November 10th (TODAY) from 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Road, at 9:30 AM, immediately followed by Interment at Creekside Cemetery in Churchville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or their favorite charity of choice.
