Age 93, of Lyons, NY, died peacefully on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Clifton Springs Hospital ICU with a loved one by his side. Robert was born on March 31, 1930 in Lyons, NY, the son of Howard and Julia Louise.
Robert worked as a farmer most of his life on the family farm, as well as a contractor and maintenance worker. He loved fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was a loyal friend and a kind person.
Robert is survived by two daughters, Roberta and Linda (both born from predeceased former wife, Susan); son, David (born from predeceased former wife Renea); three grandchildren (from Linda), Evan, Justin, and Megan; and two grandchildren (from David); nephew, John; niece, Kathy; and many good friends, including but not limited to, John Smith, Eugene Weaver, and Dave Collett. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Marjorie.
Gravesite services will be held at Lyons Rural Cemetery on August 30, 2023 at 10:00am.
