Rochester: Monday, January 21, 2008 at age 75. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Kay; children, Robert (Karen Young) Barnes, Patty (George Howell) Barnes, Kathy Hall, Michael Barnes, Tommy Barnes, Ann Marie (Kevin) Phelan and Susan (Jim) Philbin; daughters-in-law, Leslie Barnes and Cathy Barnes; grandchildren, Benjamin, Peter (Cortney), Laura and Christopher, Hall, Eva Rose Freeman, Katie and Sarah Barnes, Madeline Abraham and Adam Phelan; great-grandsons, Connor and Caleb Hall; several nieces and nephews; dear friends, Bob and Immie Baker; and beloved dog, Max. Bob was a member of the Seventh District Dental Society and a longtime member of the Brook Lea Country Club.
No prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his Memorial Mass, Thursday, at 11 AM at St. Pius Tenth Church, 3010 Chili Avenue. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2113 Chili Avenue, Rochester, NY 14624, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 1200 Scottsville Road, Rochester, NY 14624 or the National Kidney Foundation of Upstate New York, 15 Prince Street, Rochester, NY 14607 in Bob's memory.
