Sardis, Robert J. "Bob"

Rochester: Passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at age 80. Bob was predeceased by his long time companion of 44 years, Clarence H. Moore; his mother, Ellen (David) Guthrey; father, Nicholas (Maria) Sardis; nephew, Jason N. Sardis; his good friend, Gerald Rivaldo. He is survived by his brother, Michael (Elizabeth); and niece, Vanessa Sardis of CT; cousin, Carol (Stan) Cowan of GA. Bob leaves many friends including Larry and Susan Moore, Desmond Racicot, Sr. of Plattsburgh, Gladys, Tony and Kristina of Honeoye Falls; as well as Martha Sullivan, Matt Straton and Annette Oyer. Bob retired from bus driving after 34 years with Rochester Transit.

Family and friends may call at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd from 1-4 PM on Thursday followed by a Service at 4 PM. Entombment Riverside Cemetery. Per Bob's request, please omit flowers. Donations may be made in Bob's memory to Habitat for Cats, PO Box 25637, Rochester, NY 14625.
