Passed on at the age of 59.

Predeceased by his father, Robert J. Mahonsky; sister, Cheryl Ann Mahonsky. Survived by his children, Justin (Bailey) Mahonsky, Samantha (Juan) Rivera, Robert (Gina) Mahonsky, Katherine Mahonsky, Anthony Mahonsky and Charlie Mahonsky; his mother Angeline Mahonsky; his sister Alicia (John) Grieco; and 6 grandchildren; the mother of his six children, Stephanie Mahonsky; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Robert served in the IT field, which he was extremely passionate about. His second language was music. He was fluent in guitar and inspired his children to learn and love it. In addition to music, he had great enthusiasm for cooking meats in the smoker. His smoked cheeseburgers were always a major hit with the family. He also enjoyed caring for his saltwater fish tanks that were always full of vibrant life.
There will be a mass held at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Highway South, Rochester, NY 14617 on Wednesday, November 18th at 10:00am for close family and friends to celebrate Robert's life.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Program or a charity of your choice.
