Robert T. Meyer
Rochester- Devout husband, father and grandfather passed away on November 5, 2017 at 96.
Predeceased by wife Ruth Ann and son Steven Reid.
He leaves behind his children, Susan Notaro, Cheryl Ennis, James (Colleen) Meyer and Mary Jane (Gary) Kleinhammer; grandchildren, David (Rose) Notaro, Robert Notaro, Rachel (Kevin Cooney) Ennis, Joshua (Crystal) Ennis, Jessica Ennis, Shauna (Erik) Geller, James (Tiffany) Meyer, Shannon Meyer, Steven Kleinhammer and Sarah Kleinhammer; great-grandchildren, Mckenzie Ennis, Audrey Ennis, Connor Meyer and Rylee Meyer.
Robert proudly served in World War II in the Pacific theater. He was on Mission 31 of Honor Flight. Upon retirement, Robert and Ruth lived in Venice Florida where he taught many of his grandchildren to fish, swim and golf. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
The family will receive friends from 5-8pm November 9, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Funeral mass will be held the following day at 9:30am, Our Mother of Sorrows, 5000 Mount Read Blvd.
In lieu of flowers please contribute to Honor Flight Rochester or Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in his honor (SOB- Sweet Old Bob).
