Passed November 7, 2022 at the age of 83.
Predeceased by his wife, Virginia
Survived by his beloved rescue cat Dell who never left his side; his tech savvy attack bird, Stormy; daughters, Julie (Alex) Fioravanti & Rebecca (Christopher) Mattison; 10 grandchildren; & many other family & friends.
He was passionate about donating to organizations in need, including, The Make a Wish Foundation, St. Judes, Mercy Flight, & The American Cancer Society. He was an avid member of the ASPCA & never hesitated to take in a stray or wounded animal. He was the king of dad jokes. Every one he met refereed to him as "Pops". He was a people person & everyone he met became like family.
Calling hours will be Monday November 14, 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on November 15, 9:30am at St Jerome's Church, East Rochester. Entombment to follow at White Haven Memorial Park.
