August 31, 2004. Predeceased by his wife Shirley. He is survived by his sons, Lawrence, James(Carol), Robert, Jr. and William(Julie) Maples; 6 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Robert was a WWII Veteran serving in the Merchant Marines and 82nd Airborne.
