Chili - Passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2021.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Edna of 63 years; parents Isaac and Elizabeth "Hermenet" Shippers, brothers Melvin, Adrian, Jacob, Herman; and sister Marian Hebblethwaite.

Survived by children, Terry (Debbie), Jerry (Becky), Debbie (Doug) Sutera and Philip (Art Maira); grandchildren, Leslie (Kenny) Johnson, Dan (Michelle), Nick, Matthew (Michelle) Peck, Chris (Christine Walsh), Michelle (Jason) Oliver, Tavy (Andrew) Davenport, Doug (Casey) Sutera and Danielle (Nick Andolina) Sutera; 7 great-grandchildren, Jon, Zoe, Zachary, Dylan, Sasha, Sophia and Mason, and one on the way. Brother and Sister in law Ray and Linda Shippers, Sister in law Estella Weigand; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Dad was hard-working, easy going and always willing to lend a hand. He was known to be quiet, helpful and supportive. His gentle nature, good humor and quiet strength, along with his witticisms or "Bob-isms" will be fondly remembered.

Calling hours will be Wednesday October 27 10-12pm with services immediately following at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Burial at Sunnyside Cemetery, Williamson, NY
