Passed away on December 11, 2020 after a short illness.
He was predeceased by his parents, Roy W. and Marjorie P. Van Ness, sister, Mary Lou Barr and step-son John W. Houck, Jr.. He is survived by his wife, Mabel H. Van Ness; step-children, Michael (Jackie) Houck, Sarah (Ronald) Krueger and Kenneth (Bridget) Houck; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many family friends.
Bob was a Brighton resident his entire life, an avid member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Brighton Senior Center, American Council for the Blind and retired from ABVI of Rochester, NY.
