Robert Wright was born in Opp, Alabama on May 19th, 1935, to Luviner McDade and Richard Wright. In the early 1940's, his family relocated to Rochester, New York where he resided until his death. Robert, affectionately known to family and friends as R.L., was an avid animal lover; often taking stray animals into his care. R.L. enjoyed spending time with his family and making them laugh. He was kind hearted and often unpredictable. He never met a stranger and was loved by all.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Luviner Henderson and Richard Wright, 10 siblings; 4 brothers and 6 sisters.
Robert is survived by his son Jermaine, his sister Linda Flowers and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at 6 o'clock in the evening on Friday December 16th, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Chapel, 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609.
