Rodger R. Sullivan

Rodger R. Sullivan, 66, of Rochester, New York died on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Rodger was predeceased by his beloved mother, Betty (Pastorella) Sullivan. He is survived by his sister, Beverly (Chip) Stephenson, nieces Amy (Kyle Trainor) Stephenson and Mary (David) Scherer, nephews Patrick Stephenson and Casey (Sabrina) Stephenson, aunt Lena Casario, and cousins Christine Gerber, Marlene DiSano, Jerry Gerber, Kim (Frank) Sullivan, Nicholas Casario, and John Casario. He is also survived by his aunt Joyce Ciciotti with whom he was especially close.

Rodger was born on September 26, 1957 in Rochester. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1979.

For many years, he worked at Peat Marwick Mitchell and Company, Lewis General Tire, and Valeo. Rodger enjoyed spending time with his family and watching football, Jeopardy, and wrestling. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin, and his family will miss him very much.

Calling hours will be held 3:00 to 5:00 PM Thursday, April 18, 2024 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester. His Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 19, 2024 at Parish of The Holy Family, St. Jude Church, 4100 Lyell Road, Rochester. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Avenue, Rochester.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
