Greece: Passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at age 68 with his sister and fiancee at his side. He is survived by his sons, William and Donald (Carrie) VerPlank; daughter, Sandra Tucker; grandchildren, Taylor, Maria and Leandra; sister, Sandra (Marvin) Stahl; fiance, Cindy Pecora; cousins, Bob Smith, Linda (Gary) Erck, Joan (Don) Crandell and Judy Vine; along with many close wonderful friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Lipson Cancer Center, The Jewish Home of Rochester and Lifetime Care Hospice for their loving care and support given to Roger and his loved ones.
Family and friends may call (TODAY) Sunday, November 7th from 1-3 & 6-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where his Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated on Monday at 9 AM. Interment to follow at Wayland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wayland Historical Society, PO Box 494, Wayland, NY 14572 or Lifetime Care Hospice of Rochester, 3111 South Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14623.
