Ron Miller

Ron passed away peacefully at the age of 94 on May 17, 2023.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Arlene and children John (Linda) Miller of Doylestown, PA, Barbara (Paul) McKinley of Penfield, and Bill (Kathy) Miller of Webster; and seven grandchildren: Amanda, Kelly, Colleen, Lucia and Gianna Miller, and Dan and Sarah McKinley.
Born in Hornell, NY, Ron was a Korean War veteran and a graduate of Houghton College. Ron retired after a long career as a chemist at Eastman Kodak. Ron was a competitive table tennis player and a lifelong sports enthusiast. Ron loved music and played piano, accordion and guitar. He was self-taught and played keyboard up until the end entertaining everyone including his aides.
Ron was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who truly lived life to the fullest. He was an exceptional storyteller who could literally talk about any subject from physics to minor league baseball to Broadway musicals. His presence will truly be missed as he has left an indelible mark on our lives.
Ceremony at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at Lake Avenue gate will be at 1PM on June 5 followed by Celebration of Life at Lodge 1 at Braddocks Bay Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's memory to the VA , Alzheimer's Association or Hildebrant Hospice.
