For most of his career, Ron worked as Family Court Attorney with the Monroe County Child Protective Unit advocating for child and family welfare. Over 26 years, he worked his way up to be the head of that office. He was a graduate of Hobart College and William & Mary Law School, and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam as a Graves’ Registration officer. He also worked for several years at Lawyers’ Coop Publishing as a proofreader. He retired from the County in 2002, and, in his retirement, he wrote and self-published a book, Water: Metaphysics, Mysticism, and Mechanics in Search of Reality. In his free time, he also was an accomplished artist and painter. Through the years, he was very active in his churches, including being a founding member of the Antediluvians (now Senior Saints), and was also on the Board of the St. Joseph’s Neighborhood Center. He was a loving and engaged husband, father, and grandfather, and will be greatly missed.
His Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church, 48 South Estate Drive, Webster, NY 14580. Private Interment at a later time.
