Ronald D. Kostecke

Henrietta - 7/21/20. Ron was predeceased by his wife of 50 years Carol and parents William and Lauretta Kostecke. He is survived by his son David, brother Tom, cousins, nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. He was a graduate of East Rochester High School (1965), SUNY Brockport (B.A. 1969), SUNY Albany (M.S. 1970) and the University of Rochester (Ed. D. 1990). Ron was a Professor Emeritus of Monroe Community College where he served as a counselor for thirty-two years. He loved MCC, its students and the people he worked with and he truly believed that he had "the best job in the world." Ron was also an ardent amateur astronomer and student of world literature.

At Ron's request no calling hours or memorial service will be held.
