Passed peacefully on Sunday June 4, 2023 at the age of 80, with family by his side.
Predeceased by his parents Edward and Dorothy Weigel, Father & Mother In Law Clarence and Alice Miller, Sisters In Law Ruth (Myron) Blackmer and Joyce (Bob) Connelly.
Survived by his loving wife of 56 years JoAnn Weigel, Son Daniel (Tracy) Weigel, Brothers Richard (Diane) Weigel and Robert (Bobbi) Weigel, Sister In Law Nancy Preston. Several nieces and nephews, and close friends.
Ron served in the United States Air Force, and retired from Eastman Kodak Co. after a long successful career as a tool and die maker. He was the ultimate handyman, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a flare for cracking jokes and enjoyed a good laugh. He had the great ability to make others smile, and his sense of humor will be missed.
Ron had many hobbies and interests including welding, building street rods, building intricate Doll Houses, and riding his motorcycles. His love for travel took him from coast to coast, and beyond, but one of his favorite places to visit was the coastal paradise of Cape Cod, MA
Friends may call 4-6pm Tuesday June 13, 2023 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.)
Funeral services will be held following visitation at 6pm. Inurnment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery is private.
