Rory Michael Patrick O'Brien

Rory Michael Patrick O'Brien of Webster, NY passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on June 24, 1950, in Staten Island, New York. 

Predeceased by his parents, Kevin and Kathleen O'Brien, brothers, Steven and Kevin, and sister, Eileen. 

Survived by his beloved children, Kelly (Sean) O'Brien, Kevin (Peter) O'Brien, and Kerry (Jason) O'Brien-Stulb. Grandchildren, Jolie and Jagger, who he adored. Sister, Kathleen Clapp. Yana O'Brien. Many loving extended family members and close friends. 

Rory dedicated many years of his professional life to the University of Rochester, where his contributions left a lasting impact on those around him. Rory also devoted much of his time to WAA youth baseball where he truly enjoyed coaching, being a commissioner, and broadcasting games on local television. 

One could always count on Rory for being the life of the party, his outgoing personality that made everyone feel welcomed, and his sense of humor that brought a smile on everyone's face.

Among some of his many fond memories were family trips to amusement parks, lake houses, and local state parks. Rory loved baseball and was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed watching his Sunday football, was a history buff, and never missed an episode of the Price Is Right and Seinfeld. 

Rory will be remembered for his infectious and kind sprit, full of life personality, and unconditional love for his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, will never forget him, and loved him.
