Passed away peacefully on Oct 3, 2022 at the age of 87.
Rose was born in Chinchilla, PA on December 16, 1934. She & her family moved to Rochester in the early 1940's. She was the oldest of 7 children.
Predeceased by her husband, Gerald W. Sr.; parents, John & Rosemary Hodgetts; sister, Joan Souzzi; & brother, Jim Hodgetts.
Rose was a loving, devoted wife, mother, sister, & aunt. She is survived by her children, Paul (Melanie), Karen, Gerald Jr., Randy (Louise Norton), & Katrina (Chuck) Swanger; grandchildren, Jason, Tiana, Ashlee, Amanda, Hanna, & Charlie; great grand-children, Jordan, Elayna, Hunter, Aiyana, & David; siblings, Mary Marron, Jack (Marylin), Samuel (Roseanne), & Evelyn Barry; & many nieces & nephews.
The family would like to give a special Thank You to the Rochester General Hospital Hospice Care for their care & devotion for Rose.
A viewing will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, Friday Oct. 7, from 4pm to 7pm. Burial will be the following day 10am at White Haven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers please donate in Rose's honor to Mercy Ships , P.O. Box 1930, Garden Valley, TX 75771-1930.
