Rochester: Passed peacefully Thursday, January 26, 2017 at age 91. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Charles "Bill" Vecchio; sister, Antoinette Carrozzi; brothers, Vincent and Dominick Carrozzi. She is survived by her children, Janice Vecchio (Robert Mitchell), Charles (Susan) Vecchio, Judy (Michael) Chacinski; grandchildren, Jodie Larzelere, Lara Mattoon, Benjamin and Christopher Vecchio, Melissa (Paul) Melian, Michael Chacinski Jr.; great-grandchildren, Zachary Travato, Jakob and Ethan Larzelere; brother, Joseph (Jean) Carrozzi; sisters, Laura Fedele, Betty (Sam) DellaRocco; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the 3rd and 5th floors of Kirkhaven Nursing Home for the wonderful kindness, care and compassion given to Rose during her stay.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 31st from 4-7 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. where Funeral Services will immediately follow calling hours at 7 PM. Private interment. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
