Fairport: Went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 18, 2010. She is predeceased by her husband, Paul Sr.; parents, Nancy & Joseph Patti; her sisters, Millie Conti and Anne Mutch; her brothers, Santo and Leonard Patti. She is survived by her children: daughter, Maryrose (Robert) Szczerba; son, Paul Jr. (Cheryl) Speranza; grandchildren, Dr. Robert J. (Ellen) Szczerba, Annemarie (Gary) Graves, Dr. Sarah Speranza (Dr. E. Jesús Duffis), Martha Speranza, Lisa (Scott) Eardman; her great-grandchildren, Emily, Jillian, Matthew Graves, Andrew Szczerba, Jesús E. Duffis Speranza and Zachary Eardman; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her love, dedication, kindness and unselfishness toward her family and friends were an inspiration to all whose hearts she touched and she will be missed deeply by all. You will live forever in our hearts Mom. Rest in peace.
There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass, Monday November 22nd at 9 AM at Peace of Christ Parish at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Masses for the repose of her soul or contributions in her memory to be made to the American Stroke Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049 or to Autism Research at the Institute for Child Development Binghamton University, PO Box 6000, Binghamton, NY 13902. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of dedicated professionals at Aaron Manor for the loving care given to our mother and for their extended support given to our family.
