Predeceased by his mother Annie Pope Finley Lawson. Sister, Memory Meadows of Chicago, Ill. Grandson, Marcus Turner.
Survived by his son Marcus Leverett. 2 grandchildren, Ladonna, Russell of Alexander City Al.and Kaleb King. of Luverne His Aunt Bernice Tinsley of Sylacauga, Al. Very special friend, Anna Harrison and her daughter Cathy Vincent of Rochester, NY. A host of many close and dear friends.
Roy loved everyone in his community, all his friendships were golden. He loved his family and was very loyal to his church. Roy was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He will be missed by many.
The family would like to express thanks to a dear friend, Karin Nowicki for her dedication and care she provided Roy and his family.
Friends and family may call 1-3pm Tuesday February 28, 2022 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond).
