Peacefully, on Friday, April 15, 2005, surrounded by his loving family. He is predeceased by his great-granddaughter, Heather; and his brother, Tom. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jean; his sons, Rudy(Nina) and Randy(Rachel); his daughters, Jean(Peter)Boucher and Darlene(Tom)Wollschleger; his brother, Russell; grandchildren, TinaMarie(Randy), Ryann(Michael), Aaron(fiancee Kandra), Matthew (Sarah), Tami(fiance Kevin), Dawn, Keith, Shannon, Nichole, and Jason; 2 great-grandchildren, Rachel and Michael; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law,Ceil; and many close friends. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 46.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10AM at St. James Church. Interment, Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Lung Association.
