Rulette Marie Peregoy

VICTOR- Rulette Marie Peregoy, 96, peacefully went into God's loving arms on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family.
Rulette was born in Piedmont, WV, on November 29, 1924 to the late Carl and Jessie Peer. Rulette worked in the hotel industry and food service for over 40 years. She was the epitome of a true southern woman; sweet as honey, and feisty as hell. She was well versed in the world of sterling silver jewelry and how to tell "the good stuff" from everything else, how to make "real" southern food.
Raising 5 children on her own wasn't easy but she did what had to be done and she instilled in her family what it meant to work for what you want. Her presence will live on in her family and she will be greatly missed.
She is predeceased by her two children, Duane Peregoy, and Melinda Bellavia, and her brother, William Eger.
She is survived by her loving children, John Peregoy, Diane (Thomas) Baesemann, and Dana (Doreen) Peregoy, her sister-in-law, Belle Eger, and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY 14609, on Monday, May 24, 2021, from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
