Passed peacefully Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at age 90. She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert D. Akey, parents; Cora and Francis Carey and sister, Patricia Fleig. She is survived by her son, Mike (Barb) Akey, daughter; Diane Collard (Steve Sullivan), grandchildren; Mary Sullivan, Stephen Sullivan, Erin (Steve) Rouse, great grandchildren; Olivia, Austin, Hunter, Aiden, Bella and many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was a very loving, hard working Mother who was dedicated to her family, friends and church. She had a heart as big as her smile. she will be truly missed.
Services will be announced at a later date with interment at Garland Cemetery.
