Ruth T. Smith

Irondequoit: Passed away on November 28th, 2016, at age 63 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. What Ruth hoped to accomplish most in her life was to have a happy marriage, to be a mother, and to faithfully serve her Savior all of her days. Her legacy lives on through her beloved husband of 36 years, Tom; her four children, Alicea (Greg) Reeves, Jeremy (Nakeshia) Smith, Bethany (Nathan) Claes, and Melody (Isaac) Falcone. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren: Conner, Joel, Danny, Brodie, Ellie, Miriam, Eli, & Owen. She was a beautiful example of the love of Christ to all who knew her. She lived well, loved well, and was always looking for more ways to give herself to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

Family and friends may call at Joy Community Church, 890 N. Goodman Street, Rochester, NY 14609 on Thursday, December 1st from 5-8pm.

Funeral Service will be held at Northridge Church, 2052 St Paul St, Rochester, NY 14621 on Friday, December 2nd at 10:30am.
