Ruth Wysocky (Mulcahy)
April 28, 1924 — February 8, 2017
Greece: Passed peacefully on 2/8/17 at the age of 92. Ruth was the first of 13 children born to James & Agnes Mulcahy.
She is predeceased by her husband, John; grandson, Douglas; sister, Patricia Castner; loving companion of 20 years, Robert Nichols.
She is survived by her 2 sons, John (Mary Ellen) & Robert (Kathleen), 2 daughters, Lynn (David Shaw) & Judith (Doug) Wensley; 6 grandchildren, Christine Rovet, John Wysocky Jr., Michael Wysocky, Anna Chapman, Rosie Bartram, & John Wensley; 13 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandson; 8 brothers, Bob, Danny, Jim, Tim, David, Dick, Mike, & Terry, 3 sisters, Dotty, Betty, & Mary Lou; numerous nieces & nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Wegman's Cottage 300 for their loving care of Ruth. They always made her feel special and loved during her time there.
Family will receive friends 4-6pm, Wednesday, Feb.15, 2017 at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue where her Memorial Service will follow at 6:00pm. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
