March 20, 1930 — April 9, 2022
Sally Arena passed away on April 9, 2022 at the age of 92 after a short illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Rochester NY and a graduate of the Rochester School for the Deaf. Most recently, she was a member of the Hobie Creek Senior Community.
Sally's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook, and nothing pleased her more than serving one of her special meals.
Her friends and family will remember her most for the kindness and generosity she exhibited throughout her life.
Sally was predeceased by her husband Santo Arena and sisters Mary Grace Germano and Sylvia Vullo. She is survived by her son Robert Arena(Wendy), granddaughter Christine Arena, great granddaughter Olivia, and siblings Rosemary Lazare, Peter Vallone (Kerren), Ralph Vallone (Joan), many nieces and nephews, and Kathleen Goforth, who was a good friend to Sally in her final years.
Services will be Monday May 23, 2022 10:30am at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 1008 Maple Dr, Webster, NY 14580. Burial following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
