GREECE- Sally Flanagan, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family.
Sally was born in Rochester, NY to the late Charles and Agnes Cockett on March 28, 1931. She attended Nazareth Academy and she worked as an office manager at various places in Rochester, retiring from Rochester Gear. On June 17, 1950 Sally married Donald Flanagan, and they raised five children. Sally will be remembered for her love of sports, crocheting, traveling, and being with her family.
She is predeceased by her husband, Donald, and two of her sons, Terence Flanagan, and Michael Flanagan.
She is survived by her children, Karen (Michael) Cudzilo, Richard (Ann Bahrenburg) Flanagan, and Lauren (Brian) Glise, her grandchildren, Stephen, Aubrey, Brian, Joseph, James, Amy, Charles, Molly, Sarah, Toni, Katie, Shaun, and Megan, and her 14 (and ½) great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626 on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 4-7pm, with a service to immediately follow.
