Spencerport: Died peacefully Thursday, September 2, 2010 at age 79. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Mamie Mallo; brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary Mallo; sister and brother-in-law, Laura and George Tartaglia. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Rita; children, Joanne (Bob) Bell, Samuel (Dorene) Mallo, Rick (Michelle) Mallo; grandchildren, Melissa (Paul) Kowalewski, Christina (Kevin) Jeffers, Scott (Kimberly) Bell; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, William (Leah) Mallo, Dave (Sue) Mallo; sister, Margie (Jim) Fitzmaurice and many nieces and nephews.
Sam was a United States Army Veteran, who served during the Korean War.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 11 from 1-3:30 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where Funeral Services will follow calling hours at 3:30 PM. Private Interment.
