Predeceased by his brother; Steven Freedman. Sister; Maureen Howell.
Survived by his loving wife; Karen Freedman. Son; Jason Edwards. Daughters; Darleen (Brian) Scott, Connie Freedman, Kimberly (Carl) DiMaggio. Grandchildren; Joshua, Alexandra, Taylor, Jordyn, Anthony and Jennifer. Sisters; Candace Dellario, Helen (Tom) Abballe, Denise (John) Dunay. Brother; Jerry (Linda) Freedman. Several nieces and nephews, dear friends.
Sam loved gardening, working outdoors, biking and his family most of all. He will be sadly missed.
No prior calling hours.
On Monday morning August 24, 2020 at 9:45 am, friends may meet at the entrance of Riverside Cemetery, 2650 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612 (east side of Lake Ave.) for graveside services beginning at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to The American Cancer Society, 1120 S Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620 in memory of Sam. To sign Sam's guestbook, click the above link "view guestbook".
