Gates: Passed away peacefully Saturday, June 27, 2009, at age 97. She is predeceased by her husband, Rosario. She is survived by her children, Lucille Pretto, Sam Grasso and John (Enza) Grasso; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lena Mon; many nieces and nephews.
There will be no prior calling hours. Sarah's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 1, at 10 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment, Holy Ghost Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Unity Living Center, 1555 Long Pond Rd., Rochester, NY 14626.
